Dave Demarest is truly a baseball coaching icon in Southern California and the U.S.A for that matter. I have had many chance to talk baseball with Dave and everyone last for at least two or more hour. When he gets started you better be ready to listen at a very fast pace because the knowledge that he allows you to hear is unreal. My dad played ball with Dave at LBSU and then coached with him at LQ for many years before stopping to coach my brothers and I. Reflecting back on what my dad coached me about the game, so much of it came from Demarest. If I can continue carrying the teaching and coaching the game the way Dave and my father did I will consider myself a lucky man.

Great job! I firmly believe when we don’t think we can learn more about what we are doing, no matter how long we have been doing it; it’s time to do something else. Life and living is the most awesome learning process. To pour yourself into any law abiding process involving thinking and people is to experience life to the fullest!
